Apple Faces Patent Infringement Lawsuit Over Liquid Glass Design

Peer Global Inc., a company specializing in artificial intelligence operating systems, has filed a lawsuit against Apple in a Texas federal court. The lawsuit alleges that Apple has infringed on three patents with its new Liquid Glass material used in the design of its iOS software.
The patents in question are:
- 11,137,878 – Selection ring user interface
- 11,650,712 – Selection ring user interface
- 11,966,559 – Selection ring user interface
The complaint was filed by the Intellectual Property Law Group on behalf of Peer Global Inc. The case has been brought before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.
Apple’s use of the Liquid Glass material in its software design has sparked this legal dispute, highlighting the importance of intellectual property protection in the technology sector.
