Farbi Noorani is a registered patent attorney and seasoned legal, business, and technology professional with decades of experience in IT consulting, intellectual property, and emerging technologies. Licensed in New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington, Maryland, and Missouri, he has advised organizations in finance, healthcare, aerospace, transportation, and government on information technology, requiring compliance, risk management, entrepreneurial, and technical expertise. His clients have included NASA Kennedy Space Center, NASA JPL, Boston Scientific, Cedar-Sinai, Lockheed Martin, and State Street Bank. After earning his JD from Washington University in St. Louis, he began working as a USPTO patent examiner in 2014, specializing in computer networking products.
Since completing his LLM in ADR and International Business (high honors) and a Law Certificate in Technology and Entrepreneurship (4.0 GPA) from USC Gould School of Law in the early 2020s, Farbi has engaged in AI-related projects and graduate coursework across engineering, law, and business schools. He has represented an AI startup founded by a first-generation immigrant MIT engineering graduate in a business and copyright dispute. In addition, while at a top IP law firm, he supported semiconductor patent litigation against U.S. and international companies. While serving as a solo practitioner for his own firm, The Noorani Global Law Firm, he resolved and successfully prosecuted trademarks for high-tech international companies, and he is currently litigating a complex business/contract case in the Federal Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
