Malgorzata “Gosia” Kulczycka is an experienced IP attorney in the Patterson Sheridan Silicon Valley office. With over 17 years of legal experience, Gosia works to protect and support her clients’ intellectual property through patent preparation and prosecution, as well as employing brand protection strategies to prevent and address infringement claims. As an inventor herself, Gosia practices in various IP areas and technologies, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, communication technologies, complex software, and more.
Gosia has extensive experience in the areas of computer graphics and computer networks. She has experience procuring and managing large IP client accounts in the fields of computer graphics and artificial intelligence. Gosia is a skilled communicator with strong attention to detail and a broad technical background. In 2022, Gosia represented a defendant in six patent reexamination cases and successfully defended them in all instances.
Gosia holds a Ph.D. degree in computer science and engineering from Oakland University in Michigan and a J.D. degree from the University Of San Diego School Of Law. She is also an active member of the American Bar Association’s IP section and the American Intellectual Property Law Association, where she has presented several webinars.
