Shuchi is the Founder and Managing Partner of SS Intellectual Property Neeti Consultancy LLP {IPNeeti}. She started out with a small team in 2013 to commence operations of IPNeeti with a keen interest in technology, strong IP fundamentals and deep commitment to work. With her strong foundation of IP Law and support of her technical team, she has managed to nurture her clients from being zero IP owners to IP portfolio owners. Armed with over two decades of IP experience, she provides holistic IPR solutions to her clients and strategizes various IP paths that an organization should follow depending upon their current IP profile and futuristic business goals. She is well versed in patent prosecution, direct prosecution, asset management, litigation support, and patent commercialization. With respect to trademark, copyright and design matters, she counsels her clients and handles prosecution matters for the same. Being an engineer by qualification and a businesswoman for several years, she has an acumen for understanding innovative technologies and a knack for viewing inventive ideas from business perspective.
Shuchi has an in-depth understanding of the evolution of the Intellectual Property Rights in India and has been involved in developing jurisprudence within the IP domain. She started her career with a top-ranked IP firm in India followed by a leading LPO where she worked for multiple Fortune 50 clients and gained exposure to US and EP patent practice. She has a first-hand academic and professional exposure of US, EP and IN patent practice that serves as an added advantage to her clients.
Shuchi is a registered Indian Patent Agent and a Member of Expert Consultative Committee on IPR, DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt of India. Her qualifications include Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, PG Diploma in VLSI and LLM in Intellectual Property and Competition Laws (a program offered jointly by Max Planck Institute, Germany and The GW University, USA).
