Jerry Liu has taught over 35 classes since 2002 as a part-time and full-time Lecturer, and is currently teaching the undergraduate and graduate levels of Legal and Ethical Aspects of Business, and Law for Entrepreneurs. Jerry's background includes being a law firm partner, as well as serving as in-house counsel for ARRIS (divested to Vantiva and Amphenol) and as Director of Innovation and Patent Development for AT&T. He has extensive patent prosecution (procurement), litigation, and transactional expertise, and is an experienced patent developer and patent asset manager. Jerry is also a five-time technology startup entrepreneur, and is a named inventor on more than two dozen U.S. patents.


MICHAEL DRYJA has spent 30+ years representing technology-driven clients in the US. patent prosecution matters. His clients range from early-stage startups to major multinational technologies. companies, and his work emphasizes strategic portfolio development, including US patent filings and prosecution, often in collaboration with international law firms. Mr. Dryja’s practice includes substantial experience in artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), software, computing, electronics, semiconductor fabrication, materials science, mechanical, and related technologies.
