Thank you David Sanker for inviting me to an IP law conference organized by International Intellectual Property Law Association (IIPLA)! I had so much insights about patents, trade secrets and Al! "You can always tell when patent applications are created by people and not by Al - people are more creative." "Define as clear as possible the trade secrets you organisation owns". "Case by case the courts start recognizing Al training as transformative use of copyrighted works and, thus, fair use".

I had the pleasure of presenting at International Intellectual Property Law Association (IIPLA)'s Palo Alto conference with an amazing panel of IP specialists, including my colleague Brad Van Pelt, David Sanker of SankerlP, Subroto Bose of Astera Labs, and Nazeer Ali of Hanley Flight & Zimmerman. The IP world is changing a lot, and it's a ton of fun to talk (and complain!) about the latest developments.

Day 1 of the 27th International Intellectual Property Law Association (IIPLA) 2025 Conference in Palo Alto, USA was a great success! Our very own Cary Levitt and Brian Connors had an excellent first day connecting and exchanging insights with IP professionals from around the world. They are so looking forward to today's sessions and insights. I enjoyed speaking at International Intellectual Property Law Association (IIPLA) about recent developments in patent law including new strategies to address obviousness, patenting Al innovations, and the changes to the USPTO fee structure today in Palo Alto.
