Soody is founding managing counsel at STLG, a boutique IP law firm and Founder/CEO at Presque, a consumer medical device company.
With over 25 years of operational experience in law, technology, and management in start-up and fortune 100 companies, Soody’s strategic insight coupled with her practical approach is a key asset, whether acting as counsel and advisor or leading her own ventures. Soody lectures on IP, licensing, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship at domestically and internationally.
Soody serves in board and leadership capacities with several organizations including Association of Women in Science STEM-2-Market national accelerator; Licensing Executives Society USA/Canada, Palo Alto Area Bar Association, and California Lawyers Association Intellectual Property Law Executive Committee. She volunteers with several civic and philanthropic organizations, including as Commissioner with the city of Menlo Park, CA; and as a volunteer with Defy Ventures, an entrepreneurship and employment program for currently and formerly incarcerated men, women, and youth.
