Adarsh Ramanujan is primarily a litigation attorney and has assisted clientele in a wide range of sectors, in diverse areas of law. He has vast experience in patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition, and open-source related issues. Although he spends a considerable amount of time assisting clients with
transactions and in strategy, the focus of his practice is in representing clients in contentious proceedings, be it handling opposition or rectification proceedings, or enforcing or defending enforcement actions before courts and customs. He has appeared before a variety of forums, including the Patent Office, various High Courts, IPAB, various Customs offices and the Supreme Court.
He has considerable exposure and experience in international trade and commercial laws, having completed a stint in Geneva (Switzerland), handling international disputes.
He was previously with Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, a premier full-service law firm headquartered in New Delhi, India.
He has more than 30 publications to his credit and is a visiting Asst. Professor at NLU, Delhi
