Accenture (NYSE: ACN) announced on August 25, 2026, that it has agreed to acquire McCoy, a Netherlands-based SAP transformation partner serving mid-market companies. Upon completion, McCoy will become part of Accenture Edge, Accenture’s recently established business unit dedicated to mid-market enterprises. This strategic move aims to enhance Accenture’s ability to assist mid-sized organizations in modernizing operations, adopting artificial intelligence (AI), and accelerating growth.
Founded in 2012, McCoy is headquartered in the Netherlands with additional offices in Spain and the Philippines. The company specializes in designing, implementing, and managing SAP solutions encompassing ERP, data management, business solutions, managed services, and enterprise integration. Recognized as an SAP Gold Partner, McCoy holds a leading position in the Dutch mid-market SAP consultancy sector. Its client base spans industries such as high-tech, manufacturing, public sector, utilities, and retail, where it has developed strong local industry expertise and long-term client relationships.
The acquisition will strengthen Accenture Edge’s footprint in the rapidly growing EMEA mid-market segment and expand its SAP modernization capabilities within the Netherlands. McCoy will also contribute to offerings like Advance, a collaborative initiative with SAP that delivers packaged services tailored specifically for mid-market organizations. These solutions aim to help clients become more connected, intelligent, and responsive through technology modernization.
Together, Accenture Edge and McCoy plan to accelerate SAP environment modernization, integrate AI into core business processes, and scale new capabilities with reduced complexity for mid-market clients.
Nicole van Det, CEO of Accenture Netherlands and Nordics, emphasized the strategic alignment: “SAP modernization and AI are increasingly becoming part of the same strategic agenda for mid-market companies looking to accelerate growth. McCoy will add the deep SAP expertise, strong client relationships and tailored delivery model needed to turn that agenda into business value.”
Srini Subramanian, CEO of Accenture Edge, highlighted McCoy’s cultural fit and growth potential: “McCoy will play an important role in the growth of Accenture Edge across Europe. Its entrepreneurial culture and track record serving mid-market clients make it an excellent fit for our strategy and ambitions for the region.”
Tom van den Berg, Co-Founder of McCoy, expressed enthusiasm about the integration: “Joining Accenture Edge will allow us to build on what has made McCoy successful: deep SAP expertise, close client relationships and an entrepreneurial approach to delivery. Together, we can offer clients broader SAP, technology and AI capabilities to support their growth, while giving our people access to new expertise, international projects and career opportunities.”
McCoy will bring over 380 specialized professionals to Accenture Edge. Its proprietary accelerators—including SmartERP, Smart Extensions, Smart Re-use, and McCoy Integration Studio—are designed to standardize delivery, reduce implementation complexity, and enable faster SAP transformations.
The acquisition remains subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Accenture, with approximately 799,000 employees and $70 billion in FY25 revenue, is a global leader in digital transformation and AI-powered business reinvention.
