Events Refund Policy

IIPLA event refund and credit rules, including cancellation windows, visa-related requests, no-shows, and written request requirements.

How Requests Are Reviewed

All refund and credit requests for IIPLA events must be submitted in writing by email. Refunds and credits are calculated based on the date IIPLA receives the written cancellation request.

Submission of a request, request form, or supporting documents does not guarantee approval. Each request is reviewed and processed under the IIPLA Events Refund Policy.

Cancellation Windows

If a cancellation request is received within 7 calendar days of registration, the participant may choose either a refund after deduction of a 10% processing fee or full credit toward the next eligible IIPLA event. This option does not apply when registration was made within 15 days before the event.

If a cancellation request is received 45 days or more before the event, the participant may choose either a refund after deduction of a 10% processing fee plus 20% of the registration fee, or full credit toward the next eligible IIPLA event.

If a cancellation request is received between 15 and 44 days before the event, the participant may choose either a refund after deduction of a 10% processing fee plus 50% of the registration fee, or full credit toward the next eligible IIPLA event.

  • Cancellation requests received less than 15 days before the event receive no refund and no credit.
  • Registrations completed within 15 days before the event are non-refundable and non-creditable.
  • Failure to attend without prior written cancellation is treated as a no-show, with no refund or credit provided.

Visa Rejection and Event Credit

Visa rejection does not automatically qualify a participant for a full refund or event credit. Any refund or credit request arising from visa rejection is processed strictly according to the applicable cancellation cut-off rules.

IIPLA is not responsible for visa approval, rejection, delay, or processing by any embassy, consulate, or immigration authority. After successful registration, IIPLA may provide an official invitation letter on request, but issuance of documents does not guarantee visa approval.

Event credit is non-transferable, has no cash value, and may be used only for the next eligible IIPLA event, subject to availability and approval by IIPLA.

Refund / Credit Request Form

The official PDF includes the IIPLA Event Refund / Credit Request Form. Participants should complete the form and email it to IIPLA with event name, event date, order ID, registration date, request date, participant contact details, amount paid, payment method, request type, and reason for request.

Optional supporting documents may be attached when a request is based on a specific circumstance such as a visa-related issue or medical reason. Supporting documents do not guarantee approval.
