CDT Equity Boosts Ownership in Sarborg Amid Quantum Computing and IP Portfolio Growth

CDT Equity Inc. (Nasdaq: CDT) announced on August 3, 2026, a strategic transaction to increase its equity stake in Sarborg Limited to 22.7%. This increase will be effected through the issuance of pre-funded warrants to purchase up to 12,131,770 shares of CDT’s common stock, subject to approval at the company’s annual shareholder meeting scheduled for August 28, 2026.

Sarborg, an agentic AI signature intelligence company operating across multiple industrial sectors, was initially acquired by CDT in February 2026. The transaction reflects Sarborg’s significant progress in executing its business plan and expanding its technological capabilities.

A key development is Sarborg’s launch of SarborgQ, a dedicated quantum computing division. This division applies quantum-assisted coformer selection to accelerate intellectual property generation across Sarborg’s asset portfolio. The company has also broadened the scope of its Signature Intelligence platform beyond pharmaceuticals by publishing its PRISM cross-species signature mapping framework.

Sarborg’s recent patent filing covers field-deployable combination interventions for sugarcane, marking its entry into agricultural applications. This expansion demonstrates the platform’s versatility, extending its reach into agriculture, animal health, and other industrial domains.

The company has built a growing portfolio of intellectual property assets, including two new applications targeting the cystic fibrosis market. Sarborg’s proprietary disease signature databases have enabled the identification of new biological targets and rare disease signature matches, further enhancing its pharmaceutical sector offerings.

Sarborg’s platform, originally focused on pharmaceutical asset evaluation, now encompasses a broader commercial reach. The company has also demonstrated its ability to attract substantial third-party funding, with its previous capital raise implying a fully diluted valuation of approximately $638.3 million.

Dr. Andrew Regan, CEO of CDT, commented on the transaction, stating, "Sarborg has continued to execute against its strategic roadmap, expanding its Signature Intelligence platform well beyond its original pharmaceutical focus into quantum computing, agriculture, and a broader intellectual property portfolio that now spans multiple industrial sectors. We believe that this transaction strengthens our strategic alignment with Sarborg whose innovation and growing asset base are highly complementary to our own. We believe this represents a compelling opportunity to create further long-term value for our shareholders."

Sarborg Limited operates on the principle that signatures serve as a universal data language to identify, interpret, and generate high-value opportunities across sectors. By analyzing and learning from biological, chemical, and industrial signatures, Sarborg’s AI agents create an evolving network of intelligence-driven insights.
