Hop-on, Inc. (OTCID: HPNN) has revealed that its wholly owned subsidiary, Digitalage, Inc., is preparing its AI-assisted text moderation technology for enterprise evaluation and potential licensing. This initiative represents Digitalage’s first step toward commercializing its technology beyond its creator ecosystem, establishing a dual-path strategy that includes both a creator-facing media platform and external licensing opportunities.
Digitalage’s approach involves operating its proprietary media infrastructure within its creator platform while simultaneously developing selected technologies for licensing to third-party platforms, developers, and enterprises. These licensing arrangements are expected to be facilitated through application programming interfaces (APIs) and negotiated commercial agreements.
The announcement coincides with Digitalage CEO Robert T. Braun’s participation at IAM Live: Patent Transactions 2026, held on October 22 in San Diego. This event marked Braun’s inaugural appearance representing Digitalage since his appointment as CEO in September 2026. Alongside Hop-on Chairman and CEO Peter Michaels, Braun engaged in preliminary discussions with industry leaders regarding technology licensing, intellectual property commercialization, and potential strategic collaborations, though no formal agreements were disclosed.
Peter Michaels, Chairman and CEO of Hop-on and Founder and Chairman of Digitalage, emphasized the company’s broader vision: "Digitalage was created for creators, but not as a one-use system. The infrastructure we're developing to manage, protect and monetize digital media is designed to serve businesses well beyond our own creator ecosystem. Our objective is to build it, prove it and turn the components that solve real problems into commercial opportunities."
The initial enterprise licensing candidate is an AI-assisted text moderation engine designed to analyze live chat, comments, and creator interactions in real time. The system identifies content that requires review, enhancing moderation capabilities for digital platforms.
Digitalage is actively developing optimized AI models and API integration features to enable organizations to embed moderation functionalities within their existing applications and operational workflows. The technology is nearing demonstration readiness, with near-term priorities including completing the demonstration, validating operational performance, and assessing integration requirements with prospective pilot partners. The company is open to inquiries from organizations interested in pilot deployments.
Beyond text moderation, Digitalage is exploring additional capabilities such as visual and video content protection, live-media infrastructure, and digital rights management workflows.
At IAM Live, Braun contributed to a session titled "SEP Licensing Strategies That Maximise Returns," alongside Kent Baker, IP Adviser at TRASNA, and Roberto Ribeiro, Partner at DANIEL. The discussion focused on licensing negotiations, cross-industry standard-essential patent disputes, and fair, reasonable, and non-discriminatory (FRAND) licensing frameworks.
Braun brings over 20 years of international intellectual property licensing experience, including nearly 12 years at Nokia, where he led patent licensing strategies across the Americas and parts of Asia.
Digitalage’s enterprise licensing efforts pertain to its own media technologies and associated intellectual property rights. Braun highlighted the company’s licensing philosophy: "Licensing starts with identifying a problem worth solving and demonstrating that your technology delivers value. Digitalage is developing capabilities with applications beyond our own platform. Our priority is to validate those technologies, protect the underlying rights and build commercial relationships that can create long-term value."
Meanwhile, Digitalage continues to advance its creator-facing platform, which includes features such as live broadcasting, paid viewer access, replays, content libraries, creator controls, and monetization tools.
As announced on October 21, the company plans to expand its creator Alpha testing in November, initiate broader Beta testing in early December, and achieve commercial availability in the United States, Canada, and Mexico by December 31, 2026.
Digitalage’s creator ecosystem serves as a real-world operating environment for its infrastructure. The company’s next major operational goal is to validate the complete paid-media transaction workflow, encompassing live broadcasts, viewer purchases, replay availability, and accurate creator settlements.
