Fabric.AI Engages Haynes and Boone to Fortify Joint IP Portfolio with Kopin on Neural I/O Technology

Fabric.AI (Nasdaq: FABC), an AI infrastructure company specializing in fabless semiconductor technologies for next-generation AI factories, announced its retention of Haynes and Boone, LLP as intellectual property counsel. The engagement is intended to support the development and protection of Neural I/O™ intellectual property, which Fabric.AI jointly owns with its partner Kopin Corporation (Nasdaq: KOPN).

The collaboration between Fabric.AI and Kopin focuses on developing MicroLED-based optical interconnect technology. This innovation targets critical challenges in next-generation AI data centers, specifically bandwidth limitations and energy-efficiency constraints.

Josh Silverman, Chief Executive Officer of Fabric.AI, emphasized the importance of a strong intellectual property portfolio in the company’s commercialization strategy. Silverman further noted that Fabric.AI has entered into non-disclosure agreements with multiple major AI companies to facilitate technical discussions regarding Neural I/O™. He underscored that as these discussions progress, maintaining a rigorously protected patent portfolio is essential to preserving the value of the jointly developed technology for both partners and their shareholders.

Haynes and Boone will provide counsel on patent strategy, technology licensing, and other intellectual property matters related to the Neural I/O™ technology roadmap.
