Maroun S. Mourad to Lead Intellectual Property Segment at Clarivate Plc
LONDON, July 30, 2025 – Clarivate Plc, a global provider of transformative intelligence, has appointed Maroun S. Mourad as the President of its Intellectual Property (IP) segment, effective September 8, 2025. Maroun S. Mourad will succeed Gordon Samson, who is set to retire at the end of 2025.
Maroun S. Mourad joins Clarivate from Verisk Analytics Inc., where he served as the President of the Claims Solutions division. With a wealth of experience in data analytics, software, and technology-enabled services, Maroun is poised to lead the IP business at Clarivate towards continued growth and innovation.
