“We are thrilled to welcome Adrian to the team,” said Sonal Mehta, Partner-in-Charge of WilmerHale’s Palo Alto office and co-chair of the firm’s IP Litigation Practice. “His deep knowledge of the patent system, strategic thinking, and hands-on trial experience will be invaluable to our clients facing increasingly sophisticated IP challenges.”

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Percer served as a partner at another major international law firm where he was consistently recognized for his work in patent disputes involving semiconductors, telecommunications, and software technologies. His client roster has included household names in computing, mobile devices, and artificial intelligence.

Percer is also noted for his litigation success across multiple venues, including federal courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC), and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Beyond his litigation capabilities, he regularly advises companies on IP portfolio strategy, freedom-to-operate analysis, and licensing negotiations.

“The opportunity to work alongside WilmerHale’s extraordinary team and contribute to its legacy of excellence in IP law is incredibly exciting,” said Percer. “I look forward to helping clients navigate their most pressing innovation and protection challenges.”

WilmerHale is recognized globally for its IP practice, with particular strengths in patent litigation, appellate advocacy, and PTAB proceedings. The firm has played pivotal roles in landmark IP cases and frequently represents clients in disputes involving cutting-edge technologies.

Percer’s arrival follows a series of strategic lateral hires by WilmerHale aimed at reinforcing its position as a go-to law firm for technology and life sciences companies navigating IP risks and opportunities. His presence in Palo Alto, the heart of global innovation, positions the firm to offer even more agile, client-centric legal support.
