Photo Editing Software Co. Faces Patent Infringement Suit

A patent protection services firm has filed a lawsuit in a North Carolina federal court alleging that a photo editing software company has infringed on three of its patents related to advanced image processing. The complaint, lodged on Wednesday, accuses the software company of knowingly violating the patents held by the protection services firm.
The patents in question are as follows:
- 8,965,121 - Image color matching and equalization devices and related methods
- 8,508,580 - Methods, systems, and computer-readable storage media for creating three-dimensional (3D) images of a scene
- 9,185,388 - Methods, systems, and computer program products for creating three-dimensional video sequences
The case has been brought before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. The software company named in the lawsuit is Adobe Inc.
