A Texas federal judge has sanctioned Samsung for withholding its revenue-sharing agreements with Google from Mullen Industries ahead of a planned April trial. Mullen Industries alleges that location-based services on Samsung's mobile devices infringe its patents.

The case involves patents related to systems and methods for locating cellular phones and implementing security measures. The patents in question are 11,109,218, 11,234,117, and 11,122,418.

Several law firms are involved in the case, including Miller Fair, Mintz Levin, MT2 Law Group, O'Melveny & Myers, and Stafford Davis Firm. The companies named in the case are Google LLC and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.

The case is being heard in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, with Judge James Rodney Gilstrap presiding.
