Vedder Price Bolsters IP Strength with Key New York Hire: Michael Kurzer Joins as Shareholder

Kurzer’s practice focuses on a range of high-stakes IP and tech matters, including strategic counseling on IP ownership and licensing, structuring technology and software transactions, advising on data privacy and security compliance, and guiding clients through the intellectual property aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. He has represented Fortune 500 companies, tech start-ups, and private equity firms, offering tailored solutions in industries such as healthcare, media, financial services, and consumer products.

Prior to joining Vedder Price, Kurzer was a partner at Vinson & Elkins LLP, where he played a key role in the firm’s technology and IP transactional work. He earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law and holds a reputation for bridging the legal and technical aspects of IP challenges with precision and clarity.
