WIPO Director General’s Visit Sparks New Era for Kazakhstan’s Innovation

Kazakhstan has made remarkable strides in recent years in advancing its IP legislation and enforcement mechanisms. The country recognizes that a strong intellectual property system is essential for attracting foreign investment, encouraging domestic innovation, and enhancing competitiveness in the global market. By hosting the WIPO Director General, Kazakhstan signals its readiness to engage more actively in international dialogues on intellectual property and to benefit from the technical assistance and capacity-building programs offered by WIPO.
