Oracle Accused Of Infringing Wireless Technology Patents

A wireless technology licensing company has filed a lawsuit against Oracle, alleging that the tech giant is selling products and services on its website that violate patents related to mobile communication systems, including 4G and 5G networks.

The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, accuses Oracle of infringing patents that cover technology essential for wireless communication systems. The patents in question are:

  • 7,697,508 - System, apparatus, and methods for proactive allocation of wireless communication resources
  • 8,213,417 - System, apparatus, and methods for proactive allocation of wireless communication resources
  • 7,231,330 - Rapid mobility network emulator method and system

The lawsuit also names other companies in the tech industry, including Comcast Corp., Microsoft Corp., and Spectrum Management Holding Co., as being involved in the alleged infringement.

Zeisler PLLC is representing the wireless technology licensing company in this legal action.

Oracle has not yet publicly responded to the allegations.

This case highlights the ongoing legal battles in the tech industry over intellectual property rights and patent infringement. It underscores the importance of protecting innovative technologies in the competitive landscape of wireless communication systems.
