Warner Music Group and artificial intelligence music generator Udio have reached a settlement regarding claims that Udio utilized copyrighted music to train its AI models. The two parties have also announced a collaboration to establish a licensed AI music service.
The settlement comes after Warner Music Group filed a lawsuit against Udio, alleging that the AI music generator had infringed upon copyrighted music during the training of its artificial intelligence models. The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed publicly.

Companies such as the Recording Industry Association of America Inc., Sony Music Entertainment Inc., and Universal Music Group NV were also mentioned in the case.
